YOUR CHURCH NEEDS YOU
St Martin of Tours Parochial Church Council (PCC) in West Coker is looking for someone to take on the voluntary role of Treasurer.
The holder of this post will be an integral member of the West Coker PCC, who is expected to attend meetings about 6 times per year. He or she does not have to be part of the church community, but will need some understanding of the needs, obligations, and constraints of church finances. You do NOT have to be a qualified accountant. The annual turnover is about £30,000 but most transactions are repeated and regular.
Systems (paper & electronic) are already in place and training will be given, but you must have your own desktop/laptop computer, access to MS Office and be proficient in using Excel. Approx hours per week are 3.
